Great classes, enthusiastic, friendly and interesting tutors. I have really enjoyed and learned from all the sessions I have been to.

Classes are fun and stress free. Good for those keen to dip in or for the more serious learner. Teachers are very easy going and make it culturally interesting and a lot of fun. The students are all really friendly and we help each other out. Definitely recommend.

I wholeheartedly recommend learning Spanish with Marchando. I had always thought that it would be a difficult language to learn but their technique had me understanding the basics and confidently constructing conversational sentences in no time at all – and the course is lots of fun! I have just completed the first course. Excellent teacher who puts us all at ease and makes the classes fun by using games, quizzes and props. If like me, languages do not come easily, this is the class for you because of the informality, the pace and the support provided.

Very helpful and approachable tutor, with each week learning new verbs and vocabulary. Although the lessons can be challenging, they are always fun and our efforts are encouraged.

Before joining Marchando Spanish classes I used Duolingo. Since starting the first Marchando Spanish course I believe I have progressed by leaps & bounds. I am now looking forward to the next course. Thank you for all your support & help.

I sincerely recommend Spanish classes run by Marchando Spanish. They are informative and fun, well-structured and relaxed, rich in new material – vocabulary, grammar, new constructs – and at the same time relaxed and unpressurised. In every session we have games, jokes and a lot of laughter, making Spanish classes one of the highlights of my week. The groups are small and the participants are supportive of one another. You learn easily and progress steadily. Five stars!

I highly recommend Marchando Spanish. I am surprised at the speed we have learned things, so much so I can now feel much more confident in communicating when in Spain. It has been so nice to make new friends and acquaintances in our weekly meetings. For anyone who’s serious about learning Spanish, or even just for fun, there‘s no better way to learn.

I have been attending Spanish classes for nearly a year and they have far exceeded my expectations. The classes are friendly, fun, engaging and well structured and I have been really pleased with my progress learning the language. A highlight of my week!

The different subjects and grammar have been introduced in a very smooth and interesting way. Always with good sense of humour and clear pronunciation.

Classes are taught in a very relaxed and fun manner with plenty of opportunity to practice conversation. The course is also supported by their online coursework (narrated by Spanish speaker) which provide extensive practice each week in the form of grammar, pronunciation, additional vocabulary, listening and reading skills. A great way to be introduced to the Spanish language.

Adam makes the classes fun and that makes a big difference when you are returning to learning as an adult. The weekly lesson sheets include recaps on the previous class; invaluable should you have to miss one. If you want to learn Spanish then I recommend you sign up. I’ve just done so for term 3.

I had been thinking of trying a new language for a while and Spain has always been a favourite destination of mine so thought I’d combine the two. The course is perfect, its fun friendly engaging and despite my initial trepidation I can actually converse in Spanish now.. I’ve had 2 trips to Spain since I started the course and they have been a great success. If you are interested give it a go, Adam is a wonderful teacher and you won’t regret it.

My wife Stephanie and I have been learning Spanish with Marchando Spanish for six months now, and the experience has been fantastic. The content is excellent and feels incredibly structured; unlike apps like Duolingo, there is a clear, systematic theory behind the way you learn, which makes the concepts actually stick. Thank you for the last 10 weeks of Spanish lessons, they have been a tremendous boost to my endeavors to learn the wonderful Spanish language. Adam has been a great teacher, giving great direction and support.

After a year studying with Marchando Spanish I am now sufficiently confident and able to read and converse in Spanish (albeit my vocabulary needs expanding but that’s a me problem!) The classes are fun, informal and relaxed, and a camaraderie has developed with both teacher and students that encourages contributions, with no one afraid to make a mistake. Would highly recommend if you’re looking to learn the language.

I am really enjoying the Spanish course in Kelso. It is so good to be able to learn Spanish in person locally. I have maybe learnt more in 9 weeks than in a year of Duolingo. The format, level and content is perfect.

Adam’s Spanish classes are very well run, they are fun and relaxed but we are all progressing well in our ability to speak and understand the various grammar tenses . Learning material is available so you can practice before the class. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to start learning Spanish.

Really enjoying this class, I’m a complete and utter beginner and it’s been a long time since I’ve even attempted another language, the classes are relaxed, friendly, no pressure if it’s taking a bit of time to pick things up and the mixture of class participation, audio and written information all works well together.

My husband Kevin attends Adams class and really enjoying them. Lessons are well structured and fun.

I joined as a complete beginner last August, I am pleased with my progress and the conversation meetings are fun and a must to build confidence, you can learn Spanish online but it’s not the same as speaking to a real person. Adam & Carles are good teachers, they’re welcoming and make the lessons fun.

Adam and Laura are great tutors in Spanish. They provide a relaxed and really friendly way to learn a new language. I would recommend that everyone should try this to get a flavour of the Spanish language. it really is addictive and really helps when visiting a Spanish speaking country.

Just finishing beginner 1, its been great, done duolingo for over a year and finding this far better and fun.

The course has been great, offering lots of opportunity to have conversations, with Adam on hand for any questions. The group has become more relaxed as the weeks have progressed, and we’ve had some fun games and lots of laughs. So much more interactive than duolingo, would absolutely recommend.😀

The learning so far has been a ‘blast’. Adam is great and so patient with us. I’d highly recommend learning with Laura and Adam. It gets you out of your comfort zone and really challenges you. I need to put a bit more time in at home when I can, but already looking forward to the next block of lessons.

Started last September and although the “old grey matter” ain’t what it used to be, Adam has the patience of a saint….thank goodness!

Loving my Spanish classes with Adam. Great fun and learning way more than with Duolingo although it is still good for picking up words. Giving me more confidence to speak and I feel I have more understanding when I hear locals speak when I am in Spain. Will be starting third term course after the summer holidays.

Working with a nice group and teacher Lucia was very helpful and was always easy to talk to if you weren’t sure about something.

I highly recommend these classes! So enjoyable to have Adam and Laura gently lead you through the basics and then onto greater learning. I went from knowing no Spanish to confidence in just a few terms and enjoy speaking and understanding when I’m in Spain – as I am now! 😍

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience with Adam, relaxed but informative & the setting in a class where most are at a similar level really works. I knew a few Spanish words but like most, I couldn’t put sentences together to have a bit of a conversation when on holiday in Spain. A well structured but flexible approach means that this class caters for the needs of the students. Moving at a pace which suits us means being challenged but not bored. The focus is all on talking and listening which was exactly what I was looking for rather than a more academic, writing based course. The classes run by both Adam and Laura are organised to give learners confidence and create a comfortable atmosphere in which everyone is able to contribute. The online teaching materials are well prepared and easy to understand and form the structure for each class whilst the classes are relaxed and fun without the pressure that can make learning a language too stressful.

Really enjoying the classes. I am a complete beginner but find the atmosphere feels very relaxed and safe to practice my poor Spanish! Would recommend them to anyone looking to be able to make themselves understood in Spain.

Thoroughly enjoying the class. It’s my first time learning Spanish and the class is fun, friendly and builds up phrases and vocabulary week on week. All the info for each class arrives by email well ahead of time so that there is plenty of opportunity to practise beforehand so that you are never going into a class cold or feeling as if you’re being put on the spot. Adam is an excellent facilitator and is very supportive and encouraging. Would definitely recommend.
